The whole family participated in this one. It was out at Lake Walcott and was lots of fun even though the wind howled the whole time. I finished in 35.42 (11.5 minute/mile) right in the middle of the pack. Since this was more a family event than ‘serious’ race the field was slower across the board. Kevin pushed the stroller and walked with both kids. They did pretty good until around mile 1. At that point Emilie had a complete meltdown and just wanted held. Some nice gals took pity of them and offered to push the stroller so Kevin didn’t have to do that AND hold Emilie. They finished right around 55 minutes.
