Easter Bunnies!

Alleluia! He is Risen!! He is risen indeed!

Happy Easter to you all. I hope your day was as wonderful as ours, right down to the blue sky and sunshine.

The kids both had a fun time with their gifts from the ‘bunny.’ Emilie figured out there were things inside the plastic eggs pretty fast (for her it was yogurt drops) and proceed to dig through everyone else’s baskets and shake down their eggs. Jack did the same thing actually, but the pint-sized chocoholic was looking for M&M’s, not yogurt drops.

There was a very nice Easter breakfast at church followed by the service and an Easter Egg hunt afterwards.

The picture at right is the kids in their Easter finery. Jack’s shirt has an Excavator on the left side bottom which you can just see in the photo. That was the selling point. He WANTED to, in fact he HAD to wear the shirt because it had an excavator on it!

As you can see Emilie even wore an ‘Easter Bonnet.’ I guess they are not in style currently as she was the only person wearing an Easter hat. However, she got lots of comments on how cute she looked. Jack even wore the hat for a period during church. He looked pretty cute, but I regretfully did not have my camera.
