He Makes Me Laugh

Jack and his antics definitely good for the soul. He makes me laugh each and every day. Yesterday I managed to get some pictures.

My mother in law is in town for a few weeks; helping out around the house and entertaining Jack until I am recovered enough to start taking on more of my ‘manual labor’ type chores. I’m not supposed to be lifting heavy things, like my 30lb toddler. Something as simple as getting him in/out of the car or putting him down for a nap (especially when he doesn’t want to go and is pulling the ‘noodle legs’ routine) can be challenging.

Yesterday Jack was at school so the two of us went through the mountain of clothes Emilie has been given (she won’t need to go shopping for at least a year) and sorted them by size so it will be simple to swap out clothes to the right size as she grows.

By the end of the day we had everything put away except for one box of 12M and up clothes. When Jack got home from preschool he noticed the box and decided to try a few items on. Who cares that they are about 3 sizes to small, pink, and frilly…..
