For the first time Jack got to go trick-or-treating this year. I guess you could say we took him last year but it was just to the downtown businesses and he never left the stroller. This year we went to the neighborhood where Kevin’s boss lives. We trick-or-treated them first and then went and walked around the block. It took a couple of houses for Jack to figure out the drill, but by the end he was ringing doorbells, opening screen doors, and trying to chew through packets of M&M’s.
Despite the fact that I was a bit perplexed as to which day to take him, Saturday or Sunday (there is a large LDS population in town so many folks went on Saturday for religious reasons and also didn’t hand out candy on Sunday) we still managed to fill Jack’s little pumpkin bucket. Now the question becomes, “Who is going to eat all that candy?”
Oh and what was Jack for Halloween this year. Why Mr. Potato Head of course…and a VERY cute one I might add. Made his costume myself too.
